Calcium hypochlorite is an inorganic compound with the formula Ca(ClO)2. Calcium hypochlorite is one of the most widely used bleaching, sanitation and disinfecting agents in the world. Calcium hypochlorite is considered to be the best product to be used in swimming pool water treatment. As a mixture with lime and calcium chloride, it is marketed as chlorine powder or bleach powder for water treatment and as a bleaching agent. Calcium hypochlorite has more available chlorine and is relatively more stable than liquid bleach. It smells of chlorine, owing to its slow decomposition in moist air it is used in a variety of applications, the most important being as a disinfectant and cleaner.

Calcium Formate is a white crystal with excellent fluidity, which is often used as an setting-Accelerator in mortar. In dry-mixed mortar products, such as thermal insulation mortar, tile adhesive, cement-based plaster, repair mortar, etc., high-alumina cement and gypsum are usually used as coagulants in order to improve the early strength. At low temperatures, it is also necessary to add antifreeze. Calcium formate has a dual role as a new type of setting-accelerator that can accelerate the hardening speed of cement, improve the early strength, and avoid the slow setting speed of mortar in winter construction or low temperature and humidity. This facilitates the mortar to be put into use as early as possible, especially contributing to the early strength. The growth in the consumption of cement from the construction industry effectively boosts the demand for calcium formate in the market.
